Easy installation: Comes with a precut drywall insert. Unscrew it from the base frame of the vent cover and carefully remove the insert rectangle frame. Set it aside for reattachment later. Place the vent cover in the duct opening and mark its outlines on the drywall. This will serve as a guide for cutting the drywall. Cut and remove or peel off the drywall paper within the marked area. If necessary, cut the drywall to fit the vent cover properly. Insert the vent cover into the cut-out area, ensuring it sits flush with the drywall surface and fits properly within the opening. Secure the vent cover by using screws or staples. Make sure it’s firmly fixed in place. Use drywall compound to cover the perforated drywall flange around the vent cover for a seamless appearance. Allow the compound to dry. Once the compound is dry, use sandpaper to smooth the surface. Repeat the compound and sanding process until it blends seamlessly with the surrounding drywall.
Customization & Painting: Paint the drywall the same color as the surrounding walls or paste wallpaper for a matching look. The insert can be folded and locked using tongues at the back of the frame for seamless integration. Reattach the inserted rectangle frame to the base frame of the vent cover.
